A message from our Chairperson...

I am so excited to be able to announce that we have been successful in a large funding bid to Viridor Credits.

For a couple of years the team behind the lodge have been working on a project plan to redesign and renovate the indoor ramps to improve our facility and all it offers. 

It has been something that our users and coaches have wanted for so long. 

And we have a number of special people to thank for this exciting news (and for their continued support over the past 12 months) including: 

Janette Parker - Tesco Bags for life Scheme, Newton Abbot Rotary Clubs Martin Smith, Kevin Sherwood from Sherwoods ltd, Allen’s Electrical’s Chris Allen, Cllr’s from Teignbridge and Devon County Council, Devon and Cornwall Police, Karen Jones at Active Devon, Emily Farrell from Newton Abbot CIC, Street Games, All our Members of Team Lodge, Ash Parker for the new design for the skatepark plan, Firewatch, Nikki and Frank from GFIVEDESIGN, all our parents and users who make the lodge what it is to us all.

I know you’re all going to be wanting to ask loads of questions like - when will the work start, how long will it take, Will there be an official opening Jam... 

I am working hard to get these answers and will keep you all updated when I know what will happen.

In the meantime, for all of you that have been involved in the application process over the past 4-5 months. We did it!!!! And we couldn’t have done it without you.

Run by volunteers

Run by volunteers providing safety advice, skills development and personal development opportunities for our young people, The Lodge is grant-funded with additional funding and support provided by sponsors and our local business community.  Our indoor skatepark is loved and respected by all within Devon and the South of England.

We offer regular coaching sessions, groups and party events and further opportunities for development in the wheeled sports that you love!
